Obituary for Jesse Lujan Sr.
Jesse J. Lujan 71 passed away at home Oct. 20. Jesse was born in Los Angeles, moved to Vacaville when he was 14. At the age of 17 he started driving trucks, he drove trucks for most of his adult life. He enjoyed being on the road and listening to his music, he also enjoyed playing baseball, golfing, and gardening. Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marie Lujan; his sons, Jesse Jr, David, and Ken Lujan; daughters, Anita (Richard) Delgado and Tammy (Bong) Castillos; granddaughters, Desiree, Alicia and Sabrina Lujan; grandsons, Robbie Lujan and Richard Robles; four great grandchildren, Liliana, Xavier, Kayden, and Ariana; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Eva (Alfred) Gloria, Elisa, Rosemary and brother, Armando. Jesse is preceded in death by his mother and father, Jesus and Mercedes Lujan and brothers, Manuel and Jimmy Lujan. Jesse will be missed by all his family and friends. A viewing will be on Monday, Oct. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m., at McCune Garden Chapel with a Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m., at St Mary's Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Vacaville Elmira Cemetery.
