Obituary for James 'Ronnie' Robinson
James ‘Ronnie’ Robinson, Sr. February 3, 1945 – November 19, 2011 James “Ronnie” Robinson was born in Stockton, California, on February 3, 1945 and passed away on November 19, 2011, at the age of 66. His parents were Kenneth and Ima Robinson. Ronnie graduated from Dixon High School in 1963. He married Teri Sullivan on November 11, 1978. Ronnie is survived by his wife Teri; son James “Jim” Robinson, Jr.; daughter Meshell and husband Michael Louderman; and daughter Korie and husband Jaime Stubblefield, all of Dixon, CA. He is survived by father Kenneth Robinson; brother Kenny and wife Marsha Robinson; sister Becky and husband Bob Giannoni; and sister Brenda and husband Wayne Percival, all of Dixon, CA; and brother Mike and wife Tracy Robinson, of Childress, TX. He is survived by grandsons, James Robinson III, Cody, Tyler and Tanner Hays, all of Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother Ima Robinson, paternal father Laverne Robinson, brother Mark Robinson and sister Linda Robinson. Ronnie worked as a butcher at Armour Meat Company for 21 years and retired from the City of Dixon in 2009. His hobbies included fishing, camping, hunting, spending time with his grandsons, and he was an avid fan of Sprint car and NASCAR racing. A viewing will be held on Monday, November 28th from 5-8pm, with funeral services on Tuesday, November 29th at 10am, both at the Milton Carpenter Funeral Home in Dixon. Gravesite services to follow at the Silveyville Cemetery.
