Obituary for Irma Mary Perotti
Irma passed away in Vacaville after a long illness. She was 89. Irma was born in San Francisco of Italian-American parents, Giovanni Spagnoli and Mary (Berni) Spagnoli. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, John B. Perotti, her parents and brother Joe Spagnoli. She is survived by her daughter, Jannis Perotti Mendoza and son-in-law Fidel Mendoza of Vacaville whom she lived with the last 11 years of her life. She is also survived by her grandsons, Joe Mendoza of Vacaville, Andy Mebdiza (Tammi) of Hurricane, Utah and Robert Michel of Elk Grove and ten great-grandchildren.She lived in San Francisco, Redwood City, Pollock Pines and Vacaville. Irma loved traveling and vacationed and cruised all over the world. She loved Lake Tahoe, Reno and Las Vega. She really enjoyed slot machines. She loved gardening and her grandmothers roses are still in her daughters yard. Irma volunteered in the 1990s for the North Bay Hospital Guild, serving as president of the Vacaville chapter in 1999. She also volunteered for a short time at Vacavilles Performing Arts Theater.Her wishes were for a small, private funeral. Irmas Rosary was at McCune Garden Chapel of Vacaville, funeral mass at St. Marys Church in Vacaville and internment at the Italian Cemetery in Colma on April 23, 2010Irmas family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses who cared for her, especially the North Bay Home Nurses and VacaValley Hospital Nurses who cared for her the last few years of her life.
