Helen Mililani “Millie” Fraticelli July 29, 1931-Dec. 25, 2021
Helen Mililani Fraticelli was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 29, 1931 and passed away on Christmas Day, 2021 with her family at her bedside. She was 90 years old.
Growing up in Hawaii, Helen played baseball for the Puerto Rican AA Baseball League where she was selected All Star Infielder in 1953. She moved to California with her husband and children in 1956 where she played softball, volleyball and was the secretary of her bowling league. She was a singer, hula dancer and played ukulele as a member of the Na Hua Pala Hula group. She enjoyed crocheting and going to the casino! She loved her church and her church family.
She is survived by daughters, Doreen Lum (Doug), Diona Fraticelli; son, Damon Fraticelli; brother, Peter Frodente; grandchildren, Kristy Perez (Jesse), Kelly Hong (Kevin), Dacilia Fraticelli and Rachel Fraticelli; great-grandchildren Mateo, Diego and Jessalyn Perez, Kache Schoelen and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by husband George, son Dario and daughter Debra.
Visitation will be from 11:00 – 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13at Milton Carpenter Funeral Home. Burial following service at Sacramento Valley National.
