Obituary for Harry L. Coburn
Harry Lorene Coburn passed away on November 11 in Vacaville. He was born to Harry and Pauline Coburn on February 7, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Cathedral Latin High School in 1946.and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1950. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1951, attended OCS and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant. He retired in 1978 as a Colonel. He spent his entire military career with the Military Airlift Command (MAC) with the exception of a tour on the Air Staff in the Pentagon and a tour in Vietnam. During his career he received many awards and decorations.. After retirement he worked in several management positions. He fully retired in 1990 to peruse his interests in golf and computers. Harry is survived by his spouse Mary of 40 years; son Mark and his wife Karen and their children, Matthew, Emily, and Nathan of Blacksburg, VA; daughter Lisa and her husband Chris and their children Joshua and Lauren of Chula Vista; son Craig and his wife Marlene and their children Carl and Clark of Laurel, MD. He was preceded in death by his daughter Pamela.

A mass will be held November 22, 10am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
