Obituary for Guido Addiego
Guido Addiego January 18, 1944 – October 28, 2013 Guido Addiego passed away suddenly on Monday, October 28 at the age of 69. Guido was born in Verbicaro, Italy and immigrated to the Unites States at age 15. He lived in El Cerrito with his parents, two sisters and three brothers where he met his bride, Yolanda and married her in 1967. He was proud to become an American citizen in 1965. He began working for a lumber company in Richmond and had three children. In 1973, he along with his friend Ennio DePianto and their families bought a ranch in rural Vacaville. Years later, they both built homes on the ranch. Along with friend, Charles Brusco they opened All Bay Mill & Lumber in American Canyon. In 2001 his partners retired and he then welcomed his children into the company, making it a family business. In 2004, Guido had the privilege of erecting the Town Square buildings in downtown Vacaville where he frequently enjoyed coffee and music with his friends. Guido loved cooking for his friends and family, golfing, winning at the horse track, traveling back to Italy to visit his relatives and spending time at his cabin on the McKenzie River in Oregon. He adored his adopted hometown of Vacaville and frequently said that he felt blessed in his life, never missing an opportunity to give a helping hand to others. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate donations to be made in his name to the Vacaville Police Athletic League, Vacaville Boys and Girls Club and the St. Mary’s food locker because Guido never wanted anyone to go hungry and he wanted all kids to enjoy the opportunities that he never had growing up. Guido is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Yolanda Addiego, daughter Susanna Brooks and husband Bryan, daughter Sandra Over and husband Danny and son Frank Addiego and wife Tiffanie. He also leaves his brother Mario Addiego and wife Brenda, sister Mary Ciarabellini and husband Giovanni and sisters-in-law Maria Guiseppe Addiego, Francesca Addiego and Elizabeth Addiego. He is preceeded in death by his parents Francesco and Teresa Addiego, sister Grace Dito, and brothers Guiseppe Addiego and Salvatore (Ben) Addiego. He was the privileged Nonno to Brandon, Rachel, Lucia, Sabrina and Thomas Guido. He leaves many nieces and nephews as well as many cousins in both Italy and the United States. Visitation services will begin on Sunday, November 3rd from 3 to 6 pm at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main Street, Vacaville, followed by a Rosary at 7 pm at St. Joseph’s Church, 1791 Marshall Rd., Vacaville. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 am on Monday, November 4th also at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial and reception will follow. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the first responders.

In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate donations to be made in his name to the Vacaville Police Athletic League, Vacaville Boys and Girls Club and the St. Mary’s food locker
