Obituary for Gonzalo Caamal-Pool 'Chato'
On June 10th we lay to rest our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend Gonzalo Caamal-Pool, known to those close to him as Chato. Gonzalo’s life was filled with laughter, love and worship. The son of Isaac Clotilde and Benita Pech de Caamal, Gonzalo was born in Motul Yucatan, Mexico on April 20, 1922. He leaves behind his beloved wife of sixty-six years, Socorro Salazar Centeno de Caamal and their children Nidia and Fredy Centeno, Yony and Jose Aguilar, Lizbeth and Manuel Centeno, Manuel and Rose Caamal, Maria and Armando Mendoza and Carlos Caamal; their eighteen grandchildren Angelica, Isai, Yesenia and Victor, Didia, Iris, Bernardino and Kimberly, Manuel and Vanessa, Michael and Andrea, Jennifer and Mathis, Patrick, Alexis, Isaiah, Preston, Christian, Andrea, Gabi, Arisa, Javen, and their thirteen great-grandchildren Juan Carlos, Victor, Jasmine, Elijah, Jennesis, Diamond, Aaliyah, Jade, Delilah, Prince, Noah, Quiana and Xavier. Gonzalo was a man of great faith who leaves us with a beautiful legacy of helping people. He wasn’t a perfect man but a good man who lived many years sharing God’s word. In our memories he will live on playing the guitar to worship music, laughing with those he loves and embracing life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed. Viewing to be held on Monday June 9, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 212 Main Street Vacaville, CA 95688. Funeral to be held on Tuesday June 10, 2014 12:00 pm at Primera Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel 213 Brown Street, Vacaville, CA 95688 Pastor Luis Rosales will officiate.
