Obituary for Gloria Ramos Negroni
Gloria Ramos Negroni passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. She was born in Vega Alta Puerto Rico on April 7, 1928. Gloria fought a valiant battle against End Stage Kidney Disease for over seven years. Her passion, besides her husband and family, was cooking. Often was heard saying, 'This is the best rice or roast, that I have ever tasted.' Gloria had a long full life. She lived in Peru, Chile, Puerto Rico, Indiana, Illinois, Washington, Dixon, Auburn and Tahoe City California. She traveled extensively with her husband, often visiting Mexico, Venezuela, Yucaipa CA, Puerto Rico and several other Caribbean Islands. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Tami) Thompson, husband John; son, Pat Negroni, wife Sally; grandchildren, Marie Suva, Ericka and Jason Negroni; great grandchildren, Velvet Watts and Lacey Runik; siblings, Norma Gonzales, Rosalia Lopez, Carmen Benita Ramos, and Santiago Ramos and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Pat Negroni Sr. Burial will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, CA on Friday, November 8th at 11:30.
