Gloria Chaloux (Harrel) a devoted wife, mother, and Grammy passed away suddenly on February 9, 2024, at the age of 73. Beautiful, loving, spirited, and having a huge heart, Gloria will be missed by all who were fortunate to know her. Gloria was born on October 4, 1950 in Fairfield, CA and raised in Vacaville. No matter where her parents moved her, Vacaville was always home in her heart. It was in New Jersey, where the young single mother of two met Tony, the love her life. Gloria knew God had sent her Tony, and blessed them with another child and gave them 45 years together. Gloria was overjoyed when her husband Tony, who was in the Air Force was transferred back to Travis AFB so she could be by her family. Taking great pride in the care of her husband, children and her grandchildren.
Gloria always wanted to be a mother and once said “I always knew there’s nothing greater than being a mom, but being a Grammy is love on a whole new level” she loved being a Grammy and her life revolved around her beautiful children and grandchildren until the end. Her family and friends will always remember Gloria’s devotion to God, with her contagious smile and laugh, her positive outlook on life, and her bubbly and loving personality. We couldn't have asked for a better wife, mother and Grammy. We will be forever grateful for the time we got to spend with her. She has been reunited with her true love again. She is missed tremendously.
Gloria is proceeded in death by her grandparents Floyd and Osa “Dink” (Dunham) Russel, parents Beauman and June (Susie) Harrel, brother Bradley, and the love of her life Tony (Antoine) Chaloux.
