Obituary for Glenn Aaron Demuth
After a 20 month courageous battle with neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer, Glenn Aaron Demuth died peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends on June 3rd. Aaron was born February 24th, 1985 and was a lifelong resident of Vacaville.
Aaron graduated Vacaville high School in 2003 and then graduated Consumnes River College where he received a scholarship to play baseball for Chico State University, where he graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in business.
He then returned to Vacaville with his long time love, Lindsey Rhyne Crabtree, and began a career in the natural food industry with Honest Tea and then Pop Chips. Most recently, Aaron received his real estate license and became an agent with Stumbaugh Realty. In 2011, Aaron and Lindsey married. They then began their family and resided happily in love in Vacaville. Aaron was an avid hunter, fisherman and had a special love for the San Francisco Giants and the game of baseball. During his glory days of baseball as a first baseman at Chico State, Aaron had 28 career home runs which ranks second all-time in Chico State history. 14 home runs in both 2006 and 2007 which is the third most in a single season in the school’s history. Aaron was the CCAA Player of the Week, May 1-7, 20067, helped lead the team to a 13-0 record to start the 2007 season. He also was a part of the 2006 All-West Region all-tournament team. Aaron was also a key player in the College World Series in the 2007 season. Aaron is survived by his wife Lindsey; sons, Mason (3) and Aaron (6 months); parents, Glenn and Cheryl Demuth; sisters, Tina (Wylie) Guadamuz, Kelly (Kyle) Meyers, sisters-in-law, Jenny (Craig) Hurst, Lauren Favela, and Emilia Favela. Mother-in-law, Rose Ann Favela; nieces, Natalie, Harlee, Hayley and Maci; and numerous cousins and lifelong friends. Aaron’s wife requests that any donations be made in memory of Aaron Demuth to the Healing net (Neuroendocrine Tumor) Foundation.
Our lives are richer for having shared in the warmth of his life. He will forever be admired as a hopelessly devoted husband, nurturing father, loving son and brother and the most loyal friend. Keep hitting ‘em where they ain't, Dem.
