Obituary for Gladys Klohn
Gladys Alene Klohn passed away on Friday, Aug. 22, at her home in Woodland, she was 97 years old. Gladys was born in Putnam, Oklahoma on Sept. 26, 1916 to Oscar and Bessie Gasper. Gladys married Floyd Klohn Dec. 13, 1940, they were married almost 50 years at the time Floyd passed away. Gladys loved to garden and grew beautiful roses. She would say 'come and see my flowers and take you on a tour'. Gladys will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, her great stories, awesome pies and the twinkle in her eyes when she gave one of her witty replies. Gladys is survived by her son, Andre Klohn; grandson, Sean Klohn; granddaughter, Shantel Klohn; great grandsons, Jeremiah and Christopher all of Vacaville; granddaughter, Brookie Jo Sagara; great-grandsons, Eric Sagara (Julia) and Daniel Sagara; great-great granddaughter, Kendra Sagara, all of Woodland; grandson, Alan Klohn; granddaughter, Tami Crandall (Mark); great-granddaughter, Danielle Crandall, all of Kamiah, ID. She is also survived by her constant companion Misty the Poodle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Klohn; sons, Ronald Klohn and Larry Dennis Klohn. A viewing is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m., Sept. 2 at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville, with a graveside service immediately following at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
