Obituary for Geraldine Marie Leu
Born in Wisconsin in 1926 lived in Vacaville since the 1950's and worked for Travis Air Force Base as a DRMO for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Elizabeth Anderson; her father, Edward Gerber, and husband of 55 years, Norman W. Leu. Our mother/grandma passed away on Sept. 9, after a long battle with Vascular Dementia and strokes. She was a very strong woman who fought so hard to stay with her family. Her youngest daughter helped her fight her long battle in which gave us four more years of memories. She is survived by her children, Lon Michael Leu his wife, Christine Leu, Norman E. Leu, Karen Harper, James S. Leu, and Cynthia M. Leu; grandchildren, Christie Leu- Hodges and her husband Jim Hodges. Faith D. Harper, Deidre Leu-Castrodale, Daniel M. Harper Jr. and his girlfriend KimSu Raffety, William M. Harper, Traci M. Leu, Shona Coverdale, Phillip N. Leu and his wife Heather Leu, and James Anthony Leu; great grandchildren, Jessica J. Harper and her boyfriend Gilbert Trigales, Ryan A. Leu, Alexsys Harper, Aaron C. Leu, and Ginah Leu-Poe; great great grandchildren, Angelina J. Harper, Vanessa M. Trigales, and Isabelle M. Trigales. With whom she loved dearly. She will remain in our hearts until we meet again in heaven. We love you. Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m., at McCune Garden Chapel. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, Sept 17, at 10 a.m., burial to follow, Vacaville Elmira Cemetery.
