George Henry Howard

Aug. 20, 1952 - Oct. 17, 2024

George Howard passed away at the age of 72 in Sacramento, CA from a lengthy battle with COPD. George was born on August 20, 1952 in Decoto, CA (now known as Union City) to the late George Howard and Mary (Hernandez) Moura. He entered the United States Marine Corps in 1969 & was discharged with honors. George was a drifter and lived in several locations in California including: Union City, Fremont and Hayward in Alameda County, San Jose in Santa Clara County, Hollister and San Juan Bautista in San Benito County and Salinas in Monterey County. He spent time working in the Casino industry for a period of time, which brought him to Las Vegas & Reno, NV. He also spent some time in New York & Oklahoma. He settled down and moved to Sacramento, CA in 2018 to live with his daughter & caretaker, Chantel due to his deteriorating health.

George enjoyed spending time with his family, working on and riding motorcycles, Gangster/MOB movies, Country Western movies/shows, true crime shows, oldies music & billiards. His love for bikers & tattoos labeled him as somewhat of an "outlaw". He was a member of various motorcycle clubs & the following organizations: Marine Corps League-Glens Falls, NY, Eagles Club & American Legion-South Glens Falls, NY, American Legion Post 39-Durant, OK & American Legion Post 447-Sacramento, CA.

George is survived by his daughters Chantel Howard of Sacramento, CA and Alicia (Healy) Kelley of North Port FL; grandsons Vincent Oliveri and Joseph Kelley of Florida; great-granddaughter Emery Oliveri of Florida; brothers Larry Arzie of Los Gatos, CA and Frank Arzie of Hollister, CA, as well as many cousins he loved dearly. George will forever reside in our hearts. I love you Dad.
