Obituary for George Abili Fraticelli
George Abili Fraticelli was born on Sept. 10, 1919, and passed away on Jan. 25, 2013, at home with his family at his bedside. George was an Army veteran, serving in World War II. He worked civil service at Travis Air Force Base, where he retired in 1981. He also worked for his daughter and son-in-law at The Vegetable Patch. His hobbies were golfing, fishing, building model airplanes and coaching women's softball. He was an avid Sacramento Kings fan, Oakland A's fan and a die-hard Raiders fan. George is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen 'Millie' Fraticelli; daughters, Doreen Lum (Doug), Diona Fissolo (Greg Johnston); son, Damon Fraticelli; granddaughters, Kristy Perez and Kache Schoelen; and many nieces and nephews.
Service: Service will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, McCune Garden Chapel. Burial following service at Veterans National Cemetery.
