Obituary for Frank L. Patten
Frank Patten of Dixon, born in Trenton, Neb. lived in Grafton, Neb. join the Air Force during the Korean War, lived in the Sacramento area 15 years moved to Vacaville, area with his wife Frances Johnson Patten. They have one son Michael L Patten, and Gail Barnett and two grandchildren Danielle Patten and Kelly Patten, there mother Maredith Winters.Frank is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Patten of Vacaville; brothers, Dale Patten and wife Kidda Sole of Windsor, Mo. and Thomas W. Patten and wife Ann Parks of Buffalo, Mo.; sister, Bonnie Patten and husband Leslie Amaya of Las Vegas, Nev, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lenard Patten and wife Audrie of Suffolk, Va., and Marvin Patten and wife Betty of Pittsburg, Calf. Frank Patten, did his schooling in Sacramento, he became an electrician for 30 years. He belonged to Union 340 in Sacramento and did farming on the side. He liked his horses and growing good hay for them. He loved his job as an electrician. He was a great husband and father and will be missed. Frank, was a life member of DAV and United Veterans Memorial Association he also belonged to the Moose Lodge.A funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel, 448-6546.
