Obituary for Francisco Mario Ramon
On the afternoon of Nov. 22, Francisco Mario Ramon passed away at the age of 58 after a short illness at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. He was born in Itascas, Texas on Jan. 10, 1952. Frank served in the United States Air Forces for four years and then worked as a California Correctional officer at CTF Soledad, Salinas Valley State Prison and California Medical Facility in Vacaville.He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Gloria Ramon; two sons, Daniel A. Ramon of Vacaville and David M. Ramon currently residing in Stockton; two sisters-in-law, Hope Williams of Fairfield and Joann Hesbrook of Dixon. He is also survived by three brothers, Roland Ramon, Jessie Ramon, and Ruben Ramon; three sisters, Margaret Camacho, Mariana Guiterrez, and Rachel Ramon.A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Son Rise Community Fellowship Church, 620 Orange Drive in Vacaville. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 11:30 a.m. at Son Rise Community Fellowship Church with Pastor Dean Roberts officiating. A burial with military honors to follow at 2 p.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road in Dixon
