Frances Marie Leskauskas, 75, of Vacaville, California, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025. Born on June 23, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana. Frances was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and faithful servant of God. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring deeply for her family. Frances also worked briefly as a phlebotomist for Kaiser. She was known for her smile, warmth, kindness, and unwavering support- always there when you needed her, always putting family first.
She adored her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, spoiling them at any given chance, and they adored her right back. She was a woman of strong faith who saw the beauty in life’s simplest moments — Frances had a deep love for animals and was at peace in nature. Whether it was a quiet walk or time spent with loved ones. She had a calming presence, a gentle voice, and a deep well of compassion and hugs that she gave freely.
Frances is survived by her three sons: Edward Leskauskas (Dawn), Frank Leskauskas, and Drew Leskauskas (Vinnette); her beloved grandchildren: Lukas, Haley, Austin (Gaby), Jacob, Edward IV, and Alex (Tanja); and her great-granddaughter, Raelynn. She also leaves behind her brothers: Eddie Cornwell, and Richard Cornwell (Dana); and her sisters: Patti Stein (Irvin), Becky Epperson, Margaret Wilkens (Tom). Nieces and nephews she treated like her own, cousins in Indiana, and countless lifelong friends.
She is reunited in heaven with the love of her life, Edward Leskauskas Jr. (2011), her father Donald Cornwell (2023), and her mother Dixie Cornwell (1998).
Visitation services will be held at McCune Garden Chapel on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 5-8pm. Followed by a service to honor Frances’ life on June 20th at 10:00 a.m at the same location
Frances lived her life with grace, faith, and deep love. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire the family she cherished so deeply.
