Obituary for Florence Viola McCauley
Florence was a native Texan. Florence was raised by the late Elvin and Margaret Gipson who were wonderful parents. Florence met and married the late Major Neal McCauley in 1951. Neal was an Air Force Officer and Korean war veteran. This relationship allowed Florence to see the world. Florence was a wonderful person and loved by all. Florence was a dog-lover and anyone who visited her home was greeted by as many as twenty dogs. Florence was a great mother and well loved by her entire family. Through the loving support and guidance of Florence, her children are greatly successful. She was the figurehead and leader of her family. Florence was also a wonderful cook and highly intelligent. Florence is survived by her sister, Vicky Miller of Visalia, Calif.; brother, Gary Gipson of Dinuba, Calif.; sons, Mac and Jack Mc Cauley; daughters, Colleen Cassidy and Janeal Campos. She is also survived by ten loving grandchildren who will miss their grandmother very much, Lisa and Michael Cassidy, John, Jarred, and Carlee Campos, Jesse, Emily, and Kelsey Mc Cauley, and Sean and William Mc Cauley. A viewing from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and a service at 2 p.m., will be held at McCune Garden Chapel at 212 Main St., Vacaville on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012. A celebration of her life will be held immediately after the service
