Obituary for Florence June French
Florence passed away peacefully after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert and her parents, Walter and Fanny Kunz. Florence was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family always came first. She was employed by Bowmans Stationers for 13 years, a job she thoroughly enjoyed and where she formed lasting friendships. After retirement she took great pride in her volunteer work at the Vacaville Museum. Florence especially liked her role as a Docent introducing the residents of Vacaville to the wonderful exhibits the museum had to offer. Mom loved to read, sew, garden and do crafts. She always had a project going. Family and friends always looked forward to her homegrown boysenberries and homemade bread. She is survived by her sister, Marnie (Dick) Bulgin and children, Sue (Bob) Paolini, Don (Toni) French, Katie (Gary) Johnson, Bob (Judy) French; grand-children, Robyn (Willie) Paolini, Traci Paolini, Rob (Kim) French, Nicole (Bryan) Rivers, Stephanie (Peter) Curry, Ryan French, Amanda Grannen, Tom Grannen; great grandchildren, Dominic, Giuliana, Anthony, Riley, Tony, Brayden, Tyler, Ellie, Evan, Alexis and Logan; niece, Ann (Chris) Christensen and nephew, Greg Bulgin. Some people go through life with a smile and a kind word for everyone, that was mom. Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to the Vacaville Museum, 213 Buck Ave., Vacaville 95688 would be appreciated
