Felisa Cristobal Medina passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 81 years old. Felisa, known lovingly as Fely, was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Andres Dela Cruz Medina Jr.
She is survived by her children: Melissa Medina, Michael Medina (Hang) of Simi Valley, and Glenn Medina (Rosalee)
of Vacaville; her grandchildren: Andrew (Jean) of Clarksville, Christopher Jay, Jayden, Tristen, Kylie, Lucas, Rienne, Harlee, and Cyra; and her siblings: Belen Quillao, Lapaz Mendoza, Remedios Espiritu, Placido Cristobal, and Virginia Cruz. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who loved her deeply.
Felisa’s life was a quiet example of love, resilience, and family devotion. She was the heart of the home, always present, always giving, and always doing her best to care for others in her own steady and sincere way. From raising her children and grandchildren to helping her husband pursue his dream of opening Fil-Am Bakery in Sacramento, Felisa was a constant source of support and strength. She was never one to seek attention, but her impact was deeply felt by everyone who knew her.
Following her husband’s passing, Felisa found moments of joy and renewal by traveling with family and friends. Whether it was a quick getaway or a longer trip, those experiences brought her connection, laughter, and a chance to stay close to the people she loved.
Felisa’s greatest joy was being a grandmother. She took quiet pride in each of her grandchildren, and her love for them was unconditional and unwavering.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join in remembering and celebrating Felisa’s life, a life of devotion, quiet strength, and deep, abiding love.
