Obituary for Evelyn Isabelle Clark
Evelyn Isabelle Clark passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at the age of 88, at Kaiser Vacaville, California. She was a loving mother of four children, seven grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; her greatest pride was in her family.

Evelyn Isabelle Lavoie was born on Sunday, August 20th, 1933, in West Warwick, Rhode Island to Yvette Ann Provencher and Joseph Lavoie. She was raised in Rhode Island along with her sister Pauline Rita Lavoie. Evelyn had 3 children while living in Rhode Island, Kenneth Ryan Gardiner, Vanessa Gail Gardiner, and Priscilla Dawn Gardiner. In 1961 Evelyn and her family moved to Fairfield, California where she later had another son, Jason Jack Clark. Evelyn retired from Queen of the Valley hospital where she worked as a housekeeper for 24 years. She moved to Vacaville in 1986 and spent her retired years surrounded by family and love.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandchild Athena Lynn Sickles; her sister Pauline Rita Godin; her father Joseph Lavoie, and her mother Yvette Ann Lavoie. She is survived by her sons Kenneth Ryan Gardiner and Jason Jack Clark; her daughters Vanessa Gail Wickman and Priscilla Dawn Gardiner; her seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Evelyn’s celebration of life will be a private ceremony among family members. Evelyn, (Mom, Grandma, Mimi) will be deeply missed, her body is no longer here, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who love her.
