Obituary for Elvira Lucchesi-Abrew
Vacaville native Elvira Lucchesi Abrew entered into peace on July 10. She was one of nine children, born in Vacaville, to Consuela and Andrew Silva.In addition to working at the Vacaville High School cafeteria, she was an excellent homemaker to the delight of her husbands and children.She is survived by her daughter Donna Pollard (Claud) and son David Lucchesi (Merlene); seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as 10 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sisters, Josie La Chappelle of Vacaville; Mariana Zupo Fields of St. George, Utah, and brother, James Silva of Twain Harte, California.She was preceded in death by husbands Patrick Lucchesi and Joseph Abrew; son Dennis F. Lucchesi; sisters Carmen and Mary; and brothers, George, Tony, and Manuel.At her request, there will be no services.
