Obituary for Ella Dean 'Dee' Crabtree
Ella Dean Dee Crabtree passed from this life on Aug. 10, after a long illness, she was born Aug. 9, 1928 in Walker County Alabama.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters, and her son, Jerry Annan. She is survived by her husband, Bob Crabtree, daughter, Jennie McCallister, son-in-law, Mark McCallister, sisters, Nancy Mcknew and Jimmie Stuber, brothers Carl McDonald and Tom McDonald. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Dee worked in many different positions in public education, but she is best known for her position in Room 6 at Vacaville High School, here she changed lives. She loved the students and faculty of Vaca High.
A visitation will be on Monday, Aug. 15, from 5 - 8 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel. Interment will be on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 9:30 a.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. followed by memorial services 10:30 a.m. at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville.
