Obituary for Donna Jean Hibsch
Donna Jean Hibsch passed away in her home on 22 Nov, 2021 in Vacaville. She was born 9 July 1958 in Sacramento to Joseph & Lori Levine. She met her future husband Dean in Sacramento, and they were married on 3 July 1975.
Graduate of Solano College, she was an avid reader of books. She pursued this passion working for Walden’s Book Store in Fairfield ultimately becoming the manager. There was always a book close by. A die-hard Disney fan, Disneyland was her happy place. Her favorite ride was Peter Pan’s Flight and favorite character was Mary Poppins. Donna was “Practically Perfect in Every Way”. Christmas was her special time to surprise her family with unique stocking stuffers and other presents. Brown Sugar drops were a special treat baked by her during birthdays and holidays, it was a family race for the last cookie.
Her grandchildren were her treasures, she would find any reason to be with them no matter the occasion. She was always making memories with them that would last a lifetime. Donna touched so many lives.
Donna was preceded in death by Joseph Levine, father; Lori Levine, mother; brother’s Joe Jr., Kenneth, and Thomas.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Dean; sons Adam and Jason; daughter-in-law Amber; niece Katie; grandchildren, Jesse and Lucy; and lifelong friend Kathy.
