Obituary for Donatus "Dee" Agbon Okhomina Jr.
Donatus Agbon Okhomina, Jr., affectionately known as “Dee”, son of Donatus Agbon
Okhomina, Sr. and Janet Marie Okhomina was born April 26, 1977 in Jackson, Mississippi. He
attended public schools in Hinds County and was a graduate of Forrest Hill High School, He
later finished a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at Southern Illinois University. In
his formative years, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and served with his family at Mt Wade Baptist Church in Jackson, MS.

He was united in holy matrimony to Tammy Lee Okhomina on June 21, 2003. Their union was
blessed with four beautiful daughters Imarhia Aliz, Arriana Imadi, Aliyah Marie and Ilanna Lee
Okhomina.

Donatus served faithfully in the United States Air Force as an Electrical Systems Journeyman
from July 1996 thru March 2000. During this time, he was awarded the Air Force Training
Ribbon, Air Force Outstanding Unit award and the Air Force Achievement Medal with one
device.

After completion of military service, Donatus continued his career as an Electrician with the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 340 and later moved to
Local Unions 180 & 1245. He was hired with Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) in
June 2005 and then later began with Pacific Gas & Electric in August 2013 as Maintenance and Compliance Electrical Supervisor. During his career as an Electrician he was a proud
entrepreneur founding his own company, Okhomina Electronics.

His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his family; his aforementioned parents,
spouse and children, his sisters: Efe Ekinadose Okhomina, Kalisheah Eniye Okhomina-Cato and Victoria Ivie Okhomina; his mother and father in law: Robert and Cindy Tropez and Steven and Sahara Langford; sister and brother in law: Cindy Langford, Mariah Tropez and Jermaine Cato along with nieces and nephews; Dominic & Brooklyn Vaughn and Faith Lambert, Gabrielle & Nosa Cato; and a host of other devoted sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
