Obituary for Denise 'Dennie' Mana
Denise Dennie Mana, 65 passed away peacefully on May 29th at the Mana family residence in Vacaville. She leaves behind Ronald, her loving husband of 47 years, four children Michelle, Tony, Tim and Rosie, two son-in-laws Jim (Michelle), Damien (Rosie), two daughter-in-laws Stacie (Tony) and Janet (Tim). Dennie will also be deeply missed by her 11 grandchildren. Dennie devoted her life to her family as well as a large extended family of Valley Kids who considered her their second mom. She was born on July 4, 1944 to Edmond and Lucille Lemay in Vancouver, British Columbia. Dennie moved to Vacaville with her husband Ron in 1965 and throughout the years made wonderful friends whom she had great love and respect for. Dennie loved everyone and everything including all animals. She never turned away a stray or orphaned animal in need. Dennie was someone who always made time for everyone and always put them before herself. Ever the Optimist, Dennie always believed in, Looking on the bright side. She was blessed with a fantastic sense of humor which was well exercised by her family and countless friends. She loved her miniature Daschund, Chester, whom she considered her fifth child. She will be deeply missed by all whom had the pleasure of knowing her and being a part of her life. Dennie was an only child who was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held for her on Monday, June 7th at 2:00 pm at the McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville.
