Obituary for Delores "Sally" Hatch
Born Sept. 21, 1929 to George Harper and Alberta Burt Harper in Honeyville, Utah. On June 8, she passed peacefully at home, after an extended illness. She joins her husband, Rulon in the afterlife, who passed away 11 years ago, they were married for 55 adventurous years. In 1956 they decided to make a move to Walnut Creek where they raised their family.
She is survived by her six children, Kathy, Becky, Susan, Christine, Cindy, and Michael; 16 beautiful grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, as well as her two siblings, Florence and Burt.
In 1974 Sally and Rulon created a new life in Vacaville by establishing the Hatch Ranch where they built a community of friends and activities centered around the love of horses. Sally treasured and thrived with her new life at the farm. She was the hardest working woman my dad ever knew. We cherish her life and the wisdom she offered us till the end.
The family wishes to acknowledge with the greatest gratitude to Cynthia Jereza and Lindsay Brodie for their loving and tender care of Sally at the twilight of her life.
Memorial service will be held on June 20 at 1 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, located at 480 Wrentham Drive, Vacaville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donating to your favorite charity . God Bless.
