Obituary for Della Patricia Teahan
Della Patricia Teahan, age 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday November 22. Born October 24, 1930 to Catherine (Mahon) and William Cotter in San Francisco. Della was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School in San Francisco, a proud member of the Hibernian Ladies, Rebel Cork Ladies, and an avid card player.
Della lived a full and happy life surrounded by people who loved her. While she was only a mother of 5 she was seen as a maternal figure to many. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Della is preceded in death by her son Patrick. She is survived by her children William (Ellen), Kevin (Lynette), Colleen (John), and Erin; her grandchildren Candice (Scott), John, Patrick, Nicholas, Matthew, Caleigh, Joseph, and Justin; and her four great-grandchildren.
Friends and Family are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday December 7 from 9am-12:pm with rosary at 11:30am at McCune Garden Chapel Mass will be at 1 pm at St Joseph Catholic Church and interment in Vacaville-Elmira cemetery to follow.
In honor of Della’s favorite time of year, donations in memory of her can be made to Toys for Tots (or any local toy drive).
