Obituary for Daniel Winston Lantz
Daniel Lantz Jan. 13, 1968 – Nov. 21, 2011 Daniel Lantz, 43, died unexpectedly at his home in Carson City, Nevada on November 21. He was a native of Vallejo and a long-time resident of Vacaville. Dan attended San Jose City College, and was employed by Home Depot in Carson City. Dan is survived by his daughter Amie (Lantz) Brinkley (Anthony) of Salt Lake City, his grandson, Leryk, his mother Carol (Carman) Lantz Burke of Vacaville, his sister, Carrie (Lantz) Hardy (Stephen) of Vacaville and two nieces, Tara and Colby. He was preceded in death by his father Neil Lantz. Although an auto mechanic by training, he could fix almost anything. But in his spare time, Dan was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and off-road four-wheeling. He also enjoyed “working on” off-road vehicles. His latest endeavor was building a special off-road jeep for himself.

Services will be held on Wed., Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel
