Obituary for Dale Milton Ragatz
Dale Milton Ragatz, 87, entered into the Presence of his Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ, Thursday September 14, 2017 at 9:15 pm.
Dale was born July 23, 1930 in Napa CA. The son of Leland Ragatz, a
farmer, and Amy Earl Ragatz, a homemaker. Dale grew up in Napa and
married his High School Sweetheart, Darlene Kirkman, on March 29,
1953. They were blessed with a son and a daughter.
In 1950 Dale enlisted in the Navy and served as a Seaman E3 in the
Korean War. After the war, he worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard.
Dale is survived by his wife of 64 years and 7 months, Darlene Ragatz;
his brother Richard Ragatz; son Bert Warren Ragatz and daughter
Sherry Ann Cooke (Joseph); 5 Grand Children; 10 Great-Grand Children;
4 Great-Great- Grand Children as well as many Nieces and Nephews.
Service will be held on Saturday Septemeber 23 rd at Orchard Baptist
Church, 301 N. Orchard Ave, Vacaville CA at 11 am. Services entrusted
to the care of McCune Garden Chapel 448-6546
