Obituary for Clay Eugene Routh
Clay Eugene Routh, 56, of Vacaville was born August 10, 1954. He was the youngest son of Andrew and Jennie Routh, of Porterville, CA. He entered heaven September 4, 2010. Clay was a proud Army Veteran and served at Fort Ord, CA and Stuttgart, Germany.
For 25 years Clay took pride being a Masonry Contractor and the beauty of his masonry projects will remain in the Vacaville-Northern CA area for many years to come. He will be remembered as a hardworking, kind and giving man with a lot of personality. Clay loved to scuba dive, and would dive anywhere especially in the warm waters of the Cayman Islands. He was also an avid San Diego Chargers fan.
Clay is survived by his son, Jason Routh of Vacaville, CA, his daughter Katrina Routh of Vacaville, CA and former wife of 30 years Anita Routh also of Vacaville, CA. He is also leaving behind 1 brother Jim Routh of Arizona, 2 sisters Paula Morris of San Diego, CA and Wilma Gorman of Bakersfield, CA, also many numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12th from 4 to 7pm at McCune Garden Chapel. A funeral-graveside service will be held on Monday, September 13th at 10am at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
