Charlie went to a one room classroom on Robben Road in his early years and then went to Dixon High
School where he graduated in 1945. While in high school he was the Dixon FFA Chapter President after
they had just gotten their state charter.
In 1949 he met his married his wife, Frances and they had raised 4 daughters. Charles and Frances were
married for 65 years before her death in 2015. When Charlie retired they enjoyed their latter years
traveling around the world and spending time with their family.
Charlie was on the board member of the Dixon Resource Conservation District, and also was on the
board of the Dixon Fire Department, and a past member the Dixon Boat Club as well.

fan.
