Obituary for Celeste Marie Kett
Celeste Marie Kett, 44, of Dixon passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, in Sacramento. She was born on Dec. 23, 1965 in Sacramento.Celeste was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed celebrating life with family and friends. She was involved in any organization that needed her. She was a Retirement Specialist at Cal Pers for 15 years.Celeste is survived by her husband of 12 years, Michael J. Kett; daughter, Megan Nicole Kett; brother, Gilbert Dingman; sisters and brother-in-law, Jenette and Ron Harrison and Francis Gentilcore; 12 nephew, 8 nieces, 5 great-nephews, 7 great-nieces, and countless cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Dingman, Jenevah and Billie Mae Dingman; sisters, Sheri Mae Paper and Lenette Kane.A visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17, from 3 - 6 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. at Milton Carpenters Funeral Home. A Mass with Father Dan Madigan and Father Carlos Farfan officiating will follow on Monday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a College fund that has been set up for her daughter Megan in honor of Celeste at First Northern Bank in Dixon. Donations can also be made to St. Peters Food Locker or Sacramento Food Bank.
