Obituary for Catherine Ann Rodman
Catherine passed away in the early morning of November 29 of natural causes. Surrounded by the love of the ones closest to her. Catherine is survived by daughters Kay Rodman-Snoddy (James)& Patti Villarreal; son Curtis Rodman Jr. (Gayle); sisters Carol Lokamas & Annette Bencker (Donald); her sister in-law Wendy; her six grandchildren Heather Chilcote (Kyle), Matthew Minton, Catrina Roberts (Carey Roberts Jr.), Lanell Rodman, Brian Snoddy (Jennifer), Brenda Snoddy; her seven great-grandchildren Angelina Minton Wheeler, Jacob Snoddy, Jayson Snoddy, Elizabeth Snoddy, Raymond Greene, Precious Garcia, Angel Garcia; her loving companion Melvyn Roberts. Catherine was proceeded in death by her parents Delvin and Bessie Himberger; her husband Curtis Rodman Sr; her brother Michael Himberger; her brother in-law George Lokamas. Catherine was born in Omaha, Nebraska. In her early years she worked at a dry cleaners and as an assistant manager at a credit union. For the best part of her life she was a homemaker to her loving husband and children. She moved to Concord, California in 1975 and then moved to Antioch a few years later. She spent the last 16 years in Vacaville. Catherine loved traveling around the greater part of the United States. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a passion for collecting giraffes and african violets. Catherine will deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her. We are happy that she is now at peace and has joined her loved ones that have passed. The service will be held on December 6 at 10 am. at McCune Garden Chapel at 212 Main Street in Vacaville, Ca. 707-448-6546. Preceding the service there will be a procession to Holy Cross Cemetery 2200 E. 18th St, Antioch, Ca.
