Obituary for Carl Richard "Rick" Fischer Jr.
Rick peacefully passed away in his sleep with his wife of 31 years Sandy by his side. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Jo Ann and Merle Bledsoe, his children Amy (Julie) Sherman his son Bobby (Rana) Fischer his stepsons David and Brian Lum and 5 grandchildren. He served 4 years in the Air Force in Viet Nam as an airplane mechanic, working in construction for many years. Since his retirement Rick enjoyed cars, traveling and time with his family and friends. He recently took a trip to Bowling Green Kentucky to take delivery on his 2017 Corvette. He was a member of the Vacaville Moose Lodge, Elks and the VFW. His service will be held at McCune Garden Chapel on May 15th at 10 am, burial will follow at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Sojourne Hospice care.
