Obituary for Bruna Rose Williams
Bruna Williams passed away peacefully this weekend surrounded by loved ones. Bruna was a gracious spirit that could engage total strangers that became lifelong friends. A singer in the Choir of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, an extraordinary artist in painting, arts and crafts, a longtime member of YLI, a lover of dance, music and the stage she brought her outgoing personality everywhere she went. She was blessed to meet the love of her life, Ellis 'Bill' Williams, to whom she was married to for 40 years. They were married May 21, 1976 and spent the vast majority of their lives in Fairfield drawing from a long military background. Bruna is survived by her husband, Bill, their children, Cliff, John, Jane, Barbara, Mary, Rhonda, David and James as well as her close friends, Alice Wilcox, Betty McFadden and Jewel Perez and too many others to list. She had 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her smile was genuine and her friendship was offered freely. The world is missing a loving, kind and generous woman with her passing. Her life will be celebrated. And she will always be in our hearts.
