Brian Keith Fields, 48, passed away Monday, Sept. 28. Brian had fallen from a mountain side and later died from complications as a result of the fall.Brian was born Nov. 2, 1960 to Edith and Bill Fields in Groton, CT. and later moved to Vacaville where he lived for the last 33 years.Brian is survived by his son Kyle Thomas Fields of south lake Tahoe; parents, Edith and Bill Fields of Vacaville; brother Michael Fields of Elk Horn, IA.; sister Kim Mahaffey of Oklahoma City, OK.; nephews, Jeffrey Fields and Steven Mears of Vacaville, Terry Fields and Joseph Smith of Elk Horn, IA.; nieces, Sasha and Katlyn Mahaffey of Oklahoma City, OK.; and all his loving family and friends.Brian was always known for his hard work, adventurous spirit and generous heart. Even in death he donated his organs to help others.Brian was preceded in death by his sister Dawn Mears.Brian will be missed and will always have a place in our heart.There is going to be private service at a later date. We would ask in honor of Brians giving nature that instead of flowers, please donate to the Salvation Army.
