Obituary for Bill Marshall
Born in Everett Massachusetts in 1933, longtime resident Bill Marshall lived in Vacaville since 1953. After serving in the Air Force at Travis AFB, Bill became a painting contractor in Solano County for over 50 years. He loved music and in addition to playing piano and trumpet he sang with the Big Vee Showboat Chorus and various quartets associated with the S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. Bill also loved cars, a deft craftsman, he had many over the years and spent his happiest hours finding and restoring them. He is survived by his son; step daughter, and brother, Roy, as well as, many, many friends on both the East and West coasts. A chapel service will be held at McCune Garden Chapel on Monday, Aug. 6, at 1 p.m.
