Obituary for Bill Connick
William J. Connick (Bill) passed away peacefully on June 25, 2022 from a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 plus years Frances R. Connick (Fran) children Gregory Connick, Christy DeStefano, and Nicole Buss and was Papa to Jake, Emily, Tyler, Zach, Lathen and Camille.
Bill grew up in Vallejo attended Vallejo High, Solano College and Heald institute and worked For the US government at Mare Island, DCMA, and Quality Manager at the Benicia fleet. He often worked longer hours to support an extra family member or friend just because they were in need. Along with caring and supporting his family Bill was actively involved in Vallejo PAL soccer programs for 9 years
Bill will always be remembered as the kindest and most thoughtful husband and father whose love for us will never be forgotten. He had an adventurous spirit that will always be felt. His patience was always present in his actions of love and support. He worked and studied long hours while caring for us and others. He loved the Sierras and spent much of his retirement there while enjoying; archery, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and RV’ing with friends. We are so proud of all he accomplished but mostly how he loved us all. We miss him today and everyday forward.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM at McCune Garden Chapel with inurnment to follow at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA 95688.
