Obituary for Barbara Jo 'Woffinden' Owen
Barbara was born to Ray Stanley Woffinden and Evelyn Alga Mackley in Oakland, CA. She died peacefully at home using hospice after a fifteen-year battle with cancer. Barbara grew up in Richmond, CA and was in the last graduating class in Harry Ells High School. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved serving in the Sacramento Temple. She was a member of the original Vacaville camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She also sang with the women's choral group Dulcetones for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kern Woffinden. She is survived by her brother Jim Woffinden; her husband of 44 years, Bill; her six children, Chris, Mike, Ben, Tammy Cramer, Ricky, and Donny; and her 14 grandchildren, Chance, Cameron, Caiden, Kaleb, Ashlyn, Owen Cramer, Braeden Cramer, David, Sara, Gavin Cramer, Emily, Jade, Jackson Cramer, and Evelyn. She left a rich legacy and will be sorely missed. Service will be at the LDS Chapel, 480 Wrentham Dr. in Vacaville on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Vacaville Elmira Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local hospice.
