Obituary for Adrian Bojorquez Torres
Adrian Torres went home with the Lord in the early morning hours of July 7, 2019, at age 68 years of age. Adrian was born on March 6th 1951 to Concha Bojorquez Torres and Nicolas Avalos Torres in Salinas, CA. Adrian was the second child of nine children and spent most of his childhood in Soledad, CA. Later the Torres family moved to Gonzales, CA. After graduating from Gonzales Union High School in 1970, Adrian immediately went to work for Commercial Trucking, and later moved on to Gonzales Irrigation Systems. In the early 90's Adrian started his own business Adrian's Backhoe Service, a very successful and respected business in Monterey and surrounding counties. Often Adrian would donate his time and his machines for business around the community. Adrian was very active in the community of Gonzales, CA. He coached T-Ball for many years and was a part of the Lion's Club local chapter. It wasn't until later in life that Adrian started his real job. Adrian was introduced to Victory Outreach Church in Salinas, CA by his brother Nick, and this changed his life forever. Adrian became very passionate about God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. As Adrian's faith grew stronger, he started bringing more family members to Victory Outreach; including his sister Mary and his mother Concha. Adrian played a key role in establishing a Victory Outreach Church in Soledad, CA. To be closer to his grandchildren Adrian moved to Solano County in 2015, but still continued his faith with Victory Outreach in Fairfield, CA. At the time of his passing Adrian was very active with Victory Outreach in Vallejo, and was working on bringing a church to Vacaville, CA. Through Victory Outreach Adrian touched many lives from his services, bible studies as well as just spreading the good word in conversation. Adrian is survived by his three children Adrian Adam(Sarah Anne), Nicole Nadine, and Vincent Blacc(Yesenia Joy) Torres, as well as his 4 grandchildren Kaylee Marie Bubar, Michael Daniel, Christian James, and Hannah Rose Torres. Preceded in passing by Father Nick, Mother Concha and brothers Juan "Johnny" and Eddie Torres. Also, survived by Brothers Carlos, Marcos, Art, Danny and Nick as well as his Sister Mary. Celebration Of Life Services will begin July 29th, 10:00 am at Victory Outreach Church in Salinas 264 San Juan Grade Rd. Immediately following will be the burial in Soledad Cemetery.
