The McCune Garden Chapel - Entrance

Our Founder - Del McCune.

Del McCune opened the McCune Garden Chapel in 1938 and pledged to give the highest and complete funeral services to the Vacaville Community.

Del also pledged to conduct business in the spirit of the Funeral Director’s Code Of Ethics and the Golden Rule of the funeral industry. Upon Del’s death, the McCune Garden Chapel was passed to Barbara, who operates it to this date, keeping the highest traditions and service standards intact.

The facility, at 212 Main Street, is the original building of the business and remains so to this date. The McCune Garden Chapel is proud to be a respected member of the Vacaville Business Community by continuing to be family-owned and operated.

The McCune Garden Chapel today

The McCune Garden Chapel seats 200 friends and neighbors that have come to pay their respects and attend the funeral of the decedent. The Chapel has a state-of-the art sound system that is used for music as well as a podium for the delivery of eulogies and other announcements.

Lobby Area

The McCune Garden Chapel lobby is adjacent to the main Chapel where services are held. It is the main entrance to McCune Garden Chapel. Family and friends can gather here to greet each other before and after the services. This lobby opens directly to the street and is a center of all activity during any funeral or memorial being held at McCune Garden Chapel.

McCune Garden Chapel offers additional funeral items, such as veteran's flag holders and examples of monuments.  These are tastefully displayed in the lobby of the offices of McCune Garden Chapel, which is adjacent to the entrance to the Garden Chapel.  There are also couches for the convenience of the visitor to McCune Garden Chapel.

Our commitment to you

The McCune Garden Chapel has over 60 years history of commitment to the Public Trust, representing the services of the Funeral and Cemetery professions.

This commitment was started with the first facility that was opened in the City Vacaville and continues to this day.

Each of the dedicated personnel and employees have been schooled, trained and fully certified by the State of California in each of their fields of expertise. Each year, all employees are required to attend seminars and courses that best help and aid their ability to provide the best service to the public with the most up-to-date and current methods of Funeral services. To that end, our employees are reviewed every two years for license and renewal by the State of California.

Our staff and employees are pleased to state that they will continue this level of service to the public and will continue to uphold the highest level of the Public Trust that has been given to them in Funeral services by the citizens of Vacaville and surrounding communities.
