(A) Traditional Burial

 

Our traditional ceremony with burial includes:

 

·         Local transportation of deceased to funeral home 24 hours a day.

·         Alternative care including refrigeration or embalming, bathing and disinfecting, cosmetics, hairdressing, dressing and casketing.

·         Minimum service of staff and authorizations, including 24 hour attention to all details and arrangements, initial conference with family, securing of death certificate as well as securing certified copies of death certificate, and notification of death to the Social Security Administration.

·         Traditional services of Funeral Director and staff for ceremony.

·         Outside services of Funeral Director and staff, which include clergy contact, preparation of all newspaper notices and placement in the local newspapers, and coordination with cemetery selected for burial.

·         Complete use of funeral home facilities, register book, memorial folders, acknowledgement cards, 3 hours of visitation, and background music on the day of the funeral service.

·         Use of hearse for transportation of the deceased to local cemetery.

·         Use of limousine for family or pallbearers (seats 7 to 8 comfortably).

·         Transportation of all floral tributes to local cemetery

 

For Veterans, McCune Garden Chapel will assist in obtaining a US Flag, provided free by Veterans' Group and assist the family in obtaining an Honor Guard for the funeral service and aid the family in ordering a Military Headstone as well as completing any necessary military forms.

 

Traditional Burial does not include merchandise and other services selected by the purchaser.

 

The use of an additional limousine or pallbearer car is at additional cost.

(B) Limited Graveside Burial

 

Our Limited Graveside Burial (with ceremony, no visitation) includes:

 

·         Local transportation of deceased to funeral home 24 hours daily.

·         Alternate care including refrigeration or embalming, bathing and disinfecting, cosmetics, hairdressing, dressing and casketing.

·         Minimum services of staff and authorisations, including 24 hour attention to all details and arrangement, initial conference with family, securing of death certificate as well as securing certified copies of death certificate, and notification of death to the Social Security Administration.

·         Limited services of Funeral Director and staff to direct graveside services for one hour.

·         Outside services of Funeral Director and staff, which include clergy contact, preparation of all newspaper notices, and placement in the local newspapers, and coordination with the cemetery selected for burial.

·         Register book, memorial folders and acknowledgment cards.

·         Use of hearse for transportation of the deceased to the local cemetery.

·         Transportation of all floral tributes to local cemetery.

Immediate Burial with Minimum Casket

 

Our Immediate Burial with a Minimum Casket* (without ceremony) includes:

 

  • Basic services of Funeral Director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs; local transportation of deceased to the funeral home; securing of all authorizations; alternate care including, refrigeration of deceased, transportation of deceased to cemetery within Solano/Yolo Counties.

Immediate Burial with Casket Provided By Purchaser

 

If a container for immediate burial, is provided by the purchaser, it must meet the minimum standards of acceptance of the cemetery involved. McCune Garden Chapel and Milton Carpenter Funeral Home will not be, in any way, responsible for the appearance, structural integrity or suitability of a container for burial or entombment provided by the purchaser.

  • Complete use of funeral home facilities, register book, memorial folders, acknowledgement cards, 3 hours of visitation, and background music on the day of the funeral service.
  • Transportation of deceased to and from the crematory.
  • Cremation fee.

 

Traditional Cremation does not include merchandise and other services selected by the purchaser.

(D) Limited Cremation

 

Our Limited Cremation would include a choice of one of the following two services:

 

  1. Limited services of Funeral Director and staff to direct a memorial service at church or other location for one hour. OR
  2. Limited services of Funeral Director and staff to direct a memorial service at our facilities for one hour.

 

Also included:

    • Local transportation of deceased to funeral home24 hours daily.
    • Alternate care including refrigeration.
    • Minimum services of staff and authorizations, including 24 hour attention to all details and arrangements, initial conference with family, securing of death certificates as well as securing certified copies of death certificate, and notification of death to the Social Security Administration.
    • Outside services of Funeral Director and staff, which include clergy contact. Preparation of all newspaper notices and placement in the local newspapers, and coordination with the cemetery selected for burial.
    • Register book, memorial folders and acknowledgement cards.
    • Alternate container.
    • Cremation fee.
    • Transportation of deceased to and from cemetery.

Direct Cremation

 

Our simple cremation (without ceremony) includes, but is not limited to:

 

  • The basic services of Funeral Director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs; securing of death certificate as well as securing certified copies of death certificate, and notification of death to the Social Security Administration, local transportation of deceased to the funeral home within Solano/Yolo Counties, basic care of remains, refrigeration of remains, cremation fee and transportation of deceased to and from the crematory, plus securing necessary authorizations.

 

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fibreboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are a fibreboard container or an unfinished wood box.

 

Examples:

 

  • Minimum Package with cardboard container and temporary urn.
  • Basic Package with choice of basic container and urn
  • Simple Package with choice of hardboard container and urn/engrave with design or text.
  • Premium Package with choice of hardwood container and urn/engrave with design or text.
